Usually, a landlord needs to serve you with a formal “notice” before trying to evict you. The most common types of notice are the 3-Day Notice, the 30-Day Notice and the 60-Day Notice. Some notices give you the option of fixing a problem to avoid an eviction lawsuit. Other notices don’t. We know how and when to respond to notices served on you by your landlord and, if it makes sense, we try to address eviction notices in a way that avoids lawsuits altogether.
